Very good service, albeit expensive, even with a convention rate. I reserved a room on the executive floor, where the main benefit seemed to be the added peace and quite, which was a welcome relief when staying in a host hotel for a convention.
My room was spacious and the housekeeping staff kept things immaculate. The front desk was warm and cordial. The parking options are either paid self parking or paid valet. On that positive note, the valet staff was excellent and efficient.
The only glitch aside from the cost was the executive lounge area, which routinely ran out of beverages. The food at the bar at Coastal Carolina was also above average and a surprisingly fair price for in hotel dining.
It should be a four star review but the value for the money weighs more toward a three star review.
