It gets the job done if all you want is a clean place to sleep, comfy beds and pillows, and a good size shower. I didn't go to the pool since it was extremely windy when I was there, and I didn't do the spa, so I cannot speak on those. Biggest downsides are that the elevators tend to be quite slow at peak times, but that really can't be helped unless they somehow add more elevators. Also, the check-in process is quite lengthy and the line can get really long. The walls and doors are surprisingly well-insulated from the noise of other drunken visitors in the hallways staggering to/from their rooms. The casino itself has the traditional slots and tables, as well as a high roller area. The best part of this hotel is The Nook! Breakfast/brunch is fast, delicious, and inexpensive. Get there before 12 and you're likely to get a table. Room service is also pretty fast. On the backside of the hotel is the Linq Promenade- a nice collection of eateries (Hello, In-N-Out Burger!!!), bars, shops, and the big ferris wheel thing that I can't remember the name of right now. One end connects to the the Linq valet while the other takes you out onto the main Strip. Overall it's a good location at the center of the Strip with nice basic amenities.
