R & S Mattress is the local retail store for Brooklyn Bedding mattresses. Brooklyn Bedding is a local mattress manufacturer. After doing our research we discovered that the quality of mattress you get from a local manufacturer is far beyond what you would get from a national manufacturer.
The salesman Colin was a wealth of information on the different mattress types and what they layers in each mattress were comprised of. After laying on a bunch of different mattresses we picked one we thought we liked. They were able to deliver it the next day, however after attempting to sleep on it, tossing and turning all night and waking up sore we realized that we had made a mistake in purchasing this mattress.
We went back to the store and explained that there was no way this mattress was going to work for us. We spent another hour in the store trying all the mattresses again. Colin was super patient and helped us get into the correct mattress this time. Once we had a new one picked out we were able to exchange the first one for the new one and we only paid the difference. Colin even gave us a temporary mattress to sleep on for the week that it was going to take to produce the new mattress.
The new mattress got here last week and we are beyond happy and comfortable on it.
