Regarding the "friendly servers who wait in the wings to serve you" - this has since changed and is the reason for my update. The friendly servers are long gone and have since been replaced with two new types: one is a surly, bitchy diva who acts like you're inconveniencing him when you ask for things like condiments and coffee refills, and the other is a flighty, inattentive bore that you have to flag down to remind that you ordered something in the first place. Sadly, I won't be running back to Toast if this pair is on shift.
