I think Ray's has very good pizza as far as Ny style pizza goes. I'm surprised that the reviews are so inconsistent.
I think when you compare pizza from different restaurants, you have to compare cheese to cheese. Forget the meats, etc. . Pizza should be judged on just the crust, sauce, and cheese.
Ray's makes a great slice. Crust is perfect. Crispness on bottom and I can still do the NY foldover. I'd recommend this place for a traditional slice.
Note: It's always been very clean when I'm there and I like that there's plenty of seating. My kids enjoy the sports channels.
