My water glass never reached empty and that is always a sign to good and attentive wait staff. I was actually really impressed. Everyone was super friendly and ready and willing to help (even when I called for directions...)
I got the S.S.S. Which is a smoked salmon sandwich on pumpernickel bread. It took awhile for it to come out and I noticed the bread felt a little crusty on top, like it had been sitting under a heat lamp for the past 30 minutes and it was on the verge of going stale.
We also ordered the House-made Chips with Blue Cheese. Pass on these, they weren't good... They were bad, really bad. Not even the men at the table found them appetizing.
It seems the real winner is the grilled cheese, in fact my friend ranked it in the top 5 grilled cheese sandwiches of all time. He just so happens to be a Grilled Cheese Connoisseur.
