Nordstrom is my favorite department store, hands down. The one at South Park is just the right size, so it feels like you're shopping in a simultaneously large and cozy store.
It's luxurious but doesn't feel uptight. The selection of clothing is beautiful and high-quality. Every department is very well-maintained.
Nordstrom prides itself on delivering great service, and it certainly is fantastic here. Try to find Jennifer in the shoe department, because she is just excellent. She is what all sales associates should be. My size wasn't in stock, so she placed an order and had it shipped to my house free of charge.
Also, the coffee at the entrance on the first floor is top-notch. Stop and get some to sip on while you shop.
Unlike most other department stores, Nordstrom just feels serene. Shopping can be exhausting and stressful, but Nordstrom somehow manages to make it a different, positive experience.
