The best coffee and coffee service in Pittsburgh hands down but my second favorite coffee shop in Pittsburgh (only because it's not that close to my house and I just recently found out about it). Regardless, what a cute little place tucked away in Lawrenceville. This is an easy to miss spot as I literally drove past it twice. This is a pretty small place reminiscent of some of my favorite cafes in the village of NYC. Small, everyone can virtually be shoulder to shoulder, brick lined walls, enough outlets (I think) and standing space in the back with a few chairs and a small table. Oh and then something magical happened. I was taken back to Abruzzi. With my beautifully made espresso came a glass of sparkling water. Lord have mercy. Finally not just Italian by name and marketing but that full blown presentation and painting of the palette that one finds in Europe. This place is awesome and slowly but surely my goal is to make this my go to coffee shop. Perfect for reading/work, lounging, and relaxing. Not the best for big groups and meetups, but a few people shouldn't be a problem given the space. The coffee is delicious. Perfectly brewed, freshly ground, and hand crafted. Love this place.
