If you're here for luxury and an area to walk around at night. go elsewhere. If you're looking for a nice place to sleep and rest, it might be your place. After all, your eyes will be closed and the lights will be off. Arrival made me a bit skeptical. The area around the hotel is not going to be on the brochure. It's a typical "south side of town" or "other side of the tracks" (freeway) area. The hotel is definitely dated and the hallways need some work. The important things were the rooms. Really clean and nice. The showers must have been re-piped as they were really nice. Beds were very comfortable. Slept really well all three nights. We were here for Spring Training, so the prices were jacked up really high. Oh well. A lot of the reviews are accurate. No frills but clean and comfortable. We had no issue with security or parking. The hotel if off a main street by a large empty lot, so street traffic is zero, The freeway on the other side is a minor issue. It's as freeway close as you can get. Right off the 10 and 51 Av. I was on third floor. Regardless of other reviews, our experience was very good. We got it through Hotels.com We would stay here again.
