The family finally checked out this new dessert place last night after hearing so much buzz about "rolled ice cream". Be aware that the lines and the wait can be loooong. However, this is because the staff is hand-making your orders and each one takes about 3-5minutes to prepare. Amongst the 4 of us, we ordered strawberries n brownies, coffee n brownies, candy n cream, cookies n cream. I found them to be too sweet, but my kids loved it. Go figure! My favorite one was the strawberry creation which wasn't overly sweet. It is a really cool concept to watch how the ingredients transform into ice cream right in front of you on top of a frozen tray and they roll your dessert into a piece of art. The staff must have guns of steel after spending all shift doing this...it looks like quite an arm workout! We each ordered a small cup which cost $6 per person. Overall, the ice cream was tasty and it's a neat concept, but I guess I"m more nostalgic and prefer a good old-fashioned scoop of ice cream on a cone. Plus, I think the cost is a little steep given there are other options not too much farther away. However, kudos to the business owner for trying to bring something different to the northwest.
