I'm only living here for 2 weeks now.. while I was courted and wooed by a very friendly leasing rep... I was shown a renovated apt, but when I asked to move in early to the apt that was assigned to me, it was VASTLY DIFFERENT from what was shown to me: dirty exhaust fans and covers in kitchen and bathroom (see photos), filthy AC grills and filters, the refrigerator is old enough where it is turning yellow inside, the one drawer is cracked, the butter area is missing the flip up cover, no ice trays (the guy at the office barked at me, "refrigerators don't come w/ ice cube trays" I asked to have it replaced, but was told "no" b/c it is running.... the paint on the kitchen cabinets must be 15 layers thick (they stick when opening). My bathroom has glue and epoxy all over the place and mis-colored baseboard tile ALONG THE TUB!!! (See foto). The second bedroom doesn't have any windows, but has an A/c unit and the only bathroom available is in my bedroom. So, in other words, guests have to enter my bedroom to use the bathroom. Strange! I'm paying over $800 for this "space". I chose this location for its proximity to the strip, Palace Station, I-15 and I didn't want to live in a snooty gated community. However, I may consider breaking my lease (1 month's rent) if I feel my safety is in danger.
