Tryst is on my short list of clubs to hit up in Vegas for a few reasons:
-Frankly, I go to Vegas a lot, and we club every single time. Going to XS and Marquee gets old after a while, and it's nice to have a little change of scenery. Tryst is one of the better alternatives in my opinion.
-The venue itself is nice and clean. General setup and decor is pretty much the same as at XS and Surrender, only with a waterfall. Ventilation is good and the dance floor is not overcrowded. Setup of bottle service is good too, similar to XS.
-Music is hit or miss depending on the night. The first time I came to Tryst (a Friday), they were just playing typical club music - hip hop/top 40 electronic mash-up - and it was a lot of fun. On my most recent visit (a Saturday), they were playing a lot of bad house music. This was one of the nights where they promote going to Tryst before XS, so maybe that has something to do with the DJ selection...not sure. Still, in my experience Tryst has been the least house-y out of all the Wynn/Encore clubs, and I like that.
-They don't make you jump through hoops to get in. Trying to plan a clubbing night in Vegas when you have guys in your group can be stressful, but my experience with Tryst was the most reasonable. They still enforce an equal gender ratio for guest list, but I've had groups of my guy friends enter in separately through the line without major problems (of course, guys should expect to arrive early, wait in line, and pay cover - but at least you can get in within a reasonable time frame, rather than wait indefinitely at a place like Marquee).
Overall, I think Tryst is a good club for Vegas and a great nightclub overall.
