Despite being a little tricky to find, I had a good time geeking out at The Nerd. Girls are free and guys are a one drink min to get in. $7, cash only, at the door. Other than that, most stuff inside is free. Various video game consoles you can play. Give the bartender your ID and they'll give you whichever controller you need. They also have bowling lanes, but there is no system to keep score. Just good ol pen and paper. It didn't bother my group though. We weren't seriously playing or keeping score. The bar is tucked away behind the Dennys, so it was pretty dead inside. Fortunately, there was a Reddit meet up event so the bar started to fill up. Before that, the vibe was pretty flat. Not the greatest. For such a fun theme, the bar felt like it needed more life to it. Hopefully they can get some good promos to increase the crowd.
