I was at an event being held at the M Resort and decided to try the sushi restaurant within the hotel as this was one of the 6 options available. The restaurants in M Resort operate at rather odd times from my perspective but perhaps it's because I don't gamble. This place is open from 5-10pm which probably should have been a sign about the quality.
Not so Good:
- Sushi was fishy in smell and taste. This is often more apparent to me as I order sushi that is straight forward and without sauces, so when the fish isn't great I taste it and then douse it with lemon.
- You have to pay at least $25 even if you are only getting 1 sushi role.
Good:
- Service was friendly and accommodating, I ate at the bar where I was looked after promptly.
- You can order takeaway of up to 6 roles for $25
- They offer Skye Ginger vodka which I love and was a great match to the sushi.
I would not search out this spot for sushi and would only go back for a vodka ginger cocktail which is why I'm giving 2 stars.
