My experience, as a consignor with this store, was really bad. I will never return. I took in about two dozen items that were mostly clothes that I had bought at high end stores, including suits, sports jackets, pants and shirts. When I was in front of clients, in financial services, I wore expensive clothing, but after retiring, had no use for any of it. Everything was of a timeless design and less than three years old and not trendy. (no three button jackets for instance) They rejected everything except for three items that were gifts that I never wore and that were much cheaper items. I ended up selling the rejected items for several hundred dollars on eBay. I waited a few months and then called Turn Style to see what balance I had on the three items (two of which were brand new with tags) that they did keep. They claimed that none of the items sold and that they donated them. I have to admit that I am a little skeptical about this. I also have to ask...........who makes the consignment decisions in this store? My items, that were rejected, were not seasonal. The jackets and suits were tropical weight wool. The shirts and pants were all like new and were designer labels. No matter what price point they chose, these things would have been a real "find" for shoppers there. It was more work selling them on eBay because they needed to be packaged carefully and sent out. In the end, I never saw a dime from this store and their claim of not selling the new items after several months leaves me wondering. Won't return as a consignor or as a customer.
