My husband and I have been wanting to try this place for awhile so we finally decided to give it a try. So let's start out with the positives. The staff was great. We were met with friendly smiles and greetings by everyone we encountered. We were seated right away and our server was right at our table without delay. The atmosphere is beautiful!! The background music is not invasive and the lighting is perfect. This is a great place if you simply want to stare into each other's eyes and have a lovely conversation. We however wanted to eat, lol! Here in lies the problem. First, the bread was not that fresh. It was in that transitional stage where it isn't quite stale but, it's not fresh either. Next, we had the Mac and Cheese appetizer. That is the only thing I can say I enjoyed. My husband ordered the porterhouse, it was tuff and not well seasoned. I ordered the ribeye. This is typically a very flavorful tender cut. Somehow at this establishment it was neither of those things. The manager did offer to remake everything. Again, amazing service! They did remake our meal but, I think it actually came back worse. This round my steak was still not tender, not flavorful and it was not the medium rare that I had ordered. Also, the creamed spinach tasted like they had poured heavy cream on it without cooking it. So, while everything was aesthetically pleasing (our food even looked pretty), I wanted great taste.
