When I first started going to Alameda crossings dental I loved the place, I even referred my mom there to get her braces! The staff and dentists are friendly and seem to really care! Then I went there to get my two permanent retainers removed that I had from my previous ortho and got two new removable retainers. I paid $500.00. 100 to remove the top retainer, 100 to remove the bottom and 150 each for the new removable retainers. during the removal of my permanent retainer the dentist chipped the back of my front tooth, and when I brought it to their attention I was given an excuse like it was normal and it was probably already there but now that my retainers are gone I notice it! It was definitely not there before, NO accountability, just excuses! When I came to them to get my retainers removed I had a comfortable bite and perfectly straight teeth, now my bite is vary uncomfortable and I can tell that my front tooth has moved a little, causing my teeth to hit and pressure that was not there before. I met with the ortho and was told that my teeth looked straight so he didn't want to mess with them and to keep wearing my retainers, like it would just fix itself. I'm going back to my previous ortho to see what they say. They are vary nice at Alameda crossings but take no accountability for their mistakes and just give you the run around. Ill never go back! After spending $500 and having a chipped tooth and an uncomfortable bite, I feel like it was a complete waist of money and now have to go somewhere else to have them fix my teeth and probably spend much more!
