I am always skeptical when it come to a franchise from the original restaurant. For example, Uno Pizza in Chicago is Awesome but the franchise ones do not even taste close to the original Unos. I have been the the Grimaldis Brooklyn Bridge location (the old original was in Manhattan) and waited the long line and the pizza was great. As a thin crust pizza fan, I can say this Grimaldis was excellent and damn close to the original in NY (maybe they just need the NYC water?). The pizza was probably the best I have had in a long time and I have eaten at a ton of local joints (FYI...I hate the chain pizza restaurants or take out). I recommend this place and get the homemade cheesecake!
