I recently set up service. When I picked up my box, I was asked why I didn't order TV service. I explained that I used Roku and Hulu for my TV. I was told that Spectrum would like to offer me a free month of their app, for people who use Roku. I asked if it was really free and was told yes. I then said, do I have to cancel the service? I was told by Patrick, "no, it will drop off and you do not need to cancel." I said, are you sure? I don't want to find this on my bill. Patrick assured me it would not show on my bill. Guess what? Yep, it is on my bill and I cannot cancel it online. I have to CALL in to get it removed. Now, let's talk about tech service. When I arrived home with my box, I attempted to set up the app on my Roku but I kept getting this error message. When I called for help, I was place on hold several times. The rep had no idea what the error message and error code I received meant. I was on the phone for 45 min, before I told her to just call me back when it is corrected. Guess what? Yep, no call back. About a week later, I tried the app again and it started to work. The service connection to my home cuts off from time to time. I called once again for help. I was told the service to my home is very weak and someone will need to come out to address the issue. I'll have to catch you up later on this one. All in all, if I had a choice. I'd go with someone other than Spectrum. Customer Service is an unknown concept for this company.
