This museum is awesome. To start off, the museum has three whole floors dedicated to mob pictures and items. There is a ton of reading, but how else are you going to learn about mob history? They also have many short videos around the museum, for those who do not want to spend like four hours reading. There is also a huge amount of pictures pertaining to everything, which I absolutely loved because it is a real piece of history that shows what things were really like. They also have many guns, tools, and clothes that the mob had used, and YES things get very violent and gruesome in this exhibit! I also liked how this museum incorporated the mobs families and girlfriends. You really learn a lot just from going through this museum once, but it took me almost four hours to finish reading/looking at mostly everything. My boyfriend and I also got the student rate for being in college, which really saved us some money! I would definitely come back here for a second time, just to refresh and read over things that I missed. I would recommend this museum if you are in the area and would like to learn about the mob and its history.
