This is like those paint and wine classes but instead of a canvas, you paint and build wood pieces while you sip on delicious alcoholic beverages. Personally, I think these classes are more fun than the painting classes. You definitely can get more use out of the items you build. For example, I chose a clock for my project. I will always be able to use the clock to tell the time. While a painting is nice to admire occasionally, you'll definitely get more bang for your bucks at Board & Brush.
The instructors are really nice and helpful. We had one of the owners teaching the class and a couple assistants to assist. They give you instructions on when to sand and when to paint. So if you are ever looking to be more handy but don't know where to start, this is the place to go and you get to have fun!
I think this would be a great idea for a group of girl friends to hang out and chit chat instead of the usual dinner/happy hour. I will say that this is really a girl's thing because the skill set required for these classes are minimal and I feel like most guys would not find it stimulating. But it's a good date night idea too.
