Century Link is by far the worst company ever for internet. Their customer service agents try to be helpful but they are scripted robots. They keep reading from a script at least that is the way they all sound. I had their service for a year it was so slow that I could only stream movies after 11pm. If I tried earlier in the day all it did was buffer and this was after I lowered the movie from HDX to SD, ie: 1080p tp 720p. Every time they referred me to customer service 800 201-4099 that automated system would hang up every time I'd try to enter my 10 digit phone number or 9 digit account number. I would always have to call back to get it to work. Then you go through the prompts trying to get to a human customer representative and you get someone who still has to transfer you, wtf! That is why I sat through all of the options & chose the number to speak to a representative to help me. I had the service for less than a week & got a bill then I cancelled the service and got a final bill that was as much as my original bill minus 1 week. When I said to a semi human representative, "I thought you guys billed in advance?" He said we do and then I said that I already paid for the month of May then he tells me the May bill prints out on May 11th you paid your bill on May 3rd. So that is the exact opposite of advanced billing. This company of autobots suck, their service is slow especially if you have, cellphones, smart TV's, Firesticks computers, laptops or notebooks that connect to the internet. 25 megs is way to slow for all of that technology to share. For the record, I'm not crazy about COX either but they are way better than Century Link.
