I was thinking of getting Groupon for wash and blowout but thankfully I called the salon first to check on the available appointment as I needed it on a specific day. When I called and started enquiring about the groupon offer, she first said that I should buy from her as it pays her more because then she wouldn't have to give anything to Groupon. I was absolutely fine with that as for me as a customer it doesn't make any difference. Then luckily I checked with her on the price as on Groupon it says $15 for wash and blowdry, so she said it is $20 deal which she can offer if I buy from her, so I told her in that case, I will buy from Groupon then because it will be cheaper for me (also Groupon had extra 4$ off if I bought the coupon the same day). Then she said with an attitude that "ummm o.k, though it doesn't pay much to me but I will give it to you for $15" and then I asked her to confirm that she would also wash my hair as that is what the Groupon said and then she said "you want a wash as well in $15, ok I can only do 1 wash for you as generally for a blowout you are suppose to wash your hair and come". I mean it is not a big deal for me to wash my hair and come but as a customer I approached Flora through her deal on Groupon and throughout my conversation I could feel the sense of hesitation and discomfort in her voice and the tone was as if she is complaining to me as she kept on saying that $15 is too less for a blowout and a wash. It was a shock to know that she herself has no clue about her own salon's Groupon offer and is complaining to me throughout as if its my fault that she is not well informed. Anyhow I just didn't book my appointment with her and I think I took a good decision!! :)
