Been here multiple times.. Love Cerretas!! As soon as you walk in, you can tell that they're preserving history. It's a family owned and run factory, with 4-5 generations working at this point. They offer free tours Monday-Friday at 10 and 1. You get to walk around the machines for a few minutes and they tell you about the history of the factory. You also get free samples! Also, the chocolate is delicious and they have all types, sizes and flavors. I would say within an hour you can do the tour and buy some chocolates to go. It's also fairly inexpensive for the quality of chocolate that you're taking home. Located in Glendale, so about 15 min from downtown and central Phoenix.
