In Toronto for a longer visit than usual, which means time to meet up with old friends and enjoy a meal. Ricarda's is down the street from our hotel(in the heart of the Theatre district). We were hooked standing outside the restaurant reading the menu so naturally we had to give it a try. So glad we did! The atmosphere is very cool, the wait staff knowledgeable and friendly and the menu was innovative and yet not over the top. My friend chose one of the daily specials- a mixed green salad with tons of tiny baby scallops. I had spaghetti al vongole with white wine and chorizo sauce that I'm still dreaming about. I could go on and on but you really should try it for yourselves.
