' ABSOLUTELY THE WORST SERVICE OF ANY TRAVEL EXPERIENCE IN OVER 30 YEARS! '
I would not have even marked one star if there was an option of minus 5 stars.
I have traveled all over the world for over 40 years. Cruises, flights, hotels, etc.
I HAVE NEVER EVER HAD SO MUCH DIFFICULTY BOOKING 2 SIMPLE FLIGHTS EVER! FIRST AND LAST TIME TO USE EXPEDIA.
Two days ago, due what I thought was an error by Expedia, I was on HOLD ON THE PHONE FOR OVER 3 HOURS!!! I thought all was fixed with their representative Henri. I received the flight information with a confirmation number. I then received an email saying because "the airline has not acknowledged the flight and/or fare" your reservation has not been ticketed and without confirmation from the airline we are unable to ticket this reservation!" Yet, they went ahead and charged me for the reservations. I was asked to call #1-877-247-0153. I did so today. I WAITED 1 HR.28 MINS 22 SEC. Lucy finally connected. She spoke with a strong accent and so fast I could not understand what she said so I politely asked her to slow down. She retorted with 'SHE COULD NOT HEAR ME AND TO SPEAK UP" When I repeated the information closer to the phone, SHE HUNG UP ON ME'
Talk about horrible service. I can't believe people are still using Expedia. Over $2,000.00 for not having an unconfirmed reservation.
