If you're in the neighborhood and looking for some old timey family nostalgia, you've found your sweet spot! The Popcorn Shop is physically small and the lines can build up quickly. Half ice cream parlor and half popcorn shop, the friendly employees will be happy to give you samples of the popcorn. While the popcorn can be a little pricy, it's the price you pay for quality. I'm a big fan of the natural cheese and caramel corn. There's really no indoor seating. There is one, cute window on the ice cream side with a few chairs which overlooks the waterfall, but its prime real estate. If for any reason the weather is inclement, be prepared that you may not get a seat inside. Also, it's usually pretty hot inside this store. Which is bizarre, considering half of it is filled with ice cream! Regardless, anyone who knows this area will tell you that the Popcorn Shop is a staple of the community. If the old fashioned décor, gumball machines and classic candies don't make you smile, I have no idea what will.
