I don't know why there are so many negative reviews for La Ronde... I am glad I didn't check this page before purchasing my season pass lol
This was my first time going to La Ronde/any theme park in Canada for that matter. We have some incredible ones in the UK so I was a bit sceptical if it could top that but it definitely exceeded my expectations of the park.
We went on a super hot day, on the second week it had opened for summer and so the queues were long... I think the longest we waited was 45mins for a rollercoaster! We were too lazy to line up for Goliath however as were told it was 1-2hr wait time which was quite a put off.
Anyway, we visited again on a Friday and this time there was a lot less queues and so more rides! There is a lot of variety and I like the layout of the park... One big thrill ride with more calmer rides by it so you can build up your confidence again.
Food is extremely overpriced at the park though which is unfair seeing as there isn't much nearby... Also, I found some of the rides wayyyy too short for the amount of time we waited to go on them... Orbit for example is probably a minute long which I found ridiculous... It is a thrill of a ride however so I would still redo the line up for it.
Aside from the few negative points, I still feel the season pass is worth it if you like theme parks! I definitely will be going a lot this summer!!
