Brought my favorite pair of boots in to have the zipper replaced on one (the other boot's zipper had been replaced in Chicago and was in perfect order). They said, "no, don't waste money on a zipper replacement, you just need a repair." Great! They did some stitches, I picked the boots up, the zipper came back off immediately. Took the boot back and asked for the zipper to be replaced. They said, "no, don't waste money on a zipper replacement, it's the pull that's the problem." Ok. I came back and paid $20, zipper came back off the first time I tried to wear the boot. Brought it back again, saying please just replace the zipper. "Oh, but that's $75." Ok. Go for it. "No, we can't do that." What?! "I'm sorry you're not happy that we're trying to save you money." No. I'm not happy that you didn't fix the damn boot after two tries when a different repair shop did what I asked the first time and the other boot was fine afterward. And that you didn't just admit you don't want to replace the zipper. Then tried to turn it on me because I didn't accept your amazing offer to not fix my zipper a third time.
