I was excited to come see the view atop a 51 floor elevator ride. First off, I have to emphasize that this is a LOUNGE. we came on a thursday nite at almost midnight but since we stayed at the RIO, i figured we'd be ok to get in. NO, they wanted to charge girls $10 and guys $20!
When we decided to walk out, the bouncer convinced us to stay and that "there's no other club like this." (uh... what about moon at the palms?!) He was willing to comp our 3 ladies, but our 2 guys had to pay. The elevator ride up was pretty... had the view of the strip. Once inside, the party was NOT hopping. Instead, the party was outside on the balcony. We went outside, took pics of the view, and noticed people with the Witch Dr. We went to the inside bar, and the bartender put on a mini show when making it. It's in a huge glass, fruity but still good and made with dry ice. I think it was about $30.
Once we were done with the drink, we went outside to dance. the DJ was not very good. He was playing some hip hop earlier, but now it was house but mixed with other stuff. it just didn't sound good. We went inside to see if the DJ was any better.. not really. but we made the most of it because the dance floor was empty so my friends and I used the whole space. BTW, the crowd was eh. Lots of older people, some creepy older guys.

pros - great view, not crowded inside, must have the witch dr
cons - crowded outside, so so music, not so hot people, paid to get into lounge
