Fruit is disgusting and not just from one or two stands, many of them. I would have thought I would have learned after getting burned so many times but still went and bought some rasberries that were moldy within 24 hours. I have felt for years that many of the fruit vendors buy their fruit from Giant Eagle's throwaways.
All of this is a shame because I love the whole idea of the market and have fond memories of it as a kid (some 30 or so years ago).
I raised my one star to two stars because once you get by the fruit guys most of inside is pretty good, especially the pasta stands.
All that said, I'm guessing there are some decent fruit guys down there, unfortunately their hidden by the others.
