Cannot believe that I've lived here as long as I have and this was my first visit to The Farm. As they don't serve hot breakfast @ The Farm, they told us about Morning Glory Cafe and we walked back. It is quaint and lovely. Upon arrival at the desk, the gal said we could grab a coffee or water while we wait. We killed a few minutes by grabbing coffee (half a cup) and waiting out front. The food was very good -- my husband had the brisket & eggs and I had the omlette of the day. My only complaint, and I can see several others have commented on this, is the casual manner in which they tell you about grabbing a self serve coffee. If they can't tell you they will charge you for it up front, then it should be clearly posted as such at the drink dispenser area. We would have never gotten a half a cup of coffee each if we had known it would add $6 to our bill. This is a big no no and has a way of turning people off even when the overall experience was good. Dear Morning Glory: please post something indicating the cost of the beverages that are casually mentioned by your hostess. This feels a bit deceitful. Thank you.
