I was pleasantly surprised the first time I visited Brandt as I was expecting a warehouse type store or something similar to European Quality Meats (on Jutland). However, it's actually an excellent little German grocery store that even has a hot buffet with cabbage rolls, schnitzel, stews, etc. I wouldn't hesitate from eating there as it's extremely clean, despite the industrial/ warehouse look from the street. The meat counter looks exactly as photo #4 (if that helps at all). Staff is fairly friendly and we've never experienced any rude patrons - people just keep to themselves. Lots of private and street parking too. The luncheon meats are very fresh and reasonable - most under $2.00 for 100g. We've never been disappointed when we've purchased fresh meats and sausages as the quality is far superior to most grocery stores. There's not a huge selection steaks, roasts, etc. but if you're looking for salami or other cured meats, this is your place! Just please note that it has limited business hours - only open from Wednesday to Saturday.
