Wow! All these negative reviews surprise me. Sure, sometimes the elevators take a while or something happens that needs maintenance but it's really not that big of a deal, things happen. Also, every time I have submitted a maintenance request it has been fixed in a timely manner. The staff IS nice and IS helpful, I feel that the people saying otherwise are definitely blowing things out of proportion. If you're a person that can understand how running a huge building like this could be challenging and can appreciate all the things that ARE good about a place and not dwell on one or two little things (like waiting an extra couple minutes for an elevator, in my opinion not a big deal and a very "first world problem") then you will love this place. The location is great and the apartments are beautiful. I renewed my lease for next year and am very happy I did so.
Also, just a small side note, people saying management is horrible: I've seen some parents and students that have a lease in this building be INCREDIBLY rude to staff, perhaps that's why they seem less eager to help you. As someone who has worked in the service industry, I've seen nastiness but some of the other college kids that live here have SERIOUS respect issues. A little kindness and understanding goes a long way to get what you want from a very friendly staff. That's common sense people!
