I was really excited when this place opened- I am always looking for healthy options to eat before and during work! Although I didn't try the juice, I did try an acai bowl. First of all, it is extremely small for the price. Secondly, it was so sweet I couldn't finish eating it. Although they do not claim to not add sugar to their products, I assumed that would be the case as they are a "raw" bar that supposedly prides itself on healthy foods. Adding so much sugar to naturally sweet and delicious fruits is a completely unnecessary. If I wanted that I would go to Orange Julius. Third, I waited forever to get my order. There were only 2 people in front of me and I waited about ten minutes. Oh yea, they do not mark their products on the menu to specify that they are vegan or vegetarian. Do not assume they are- one of their bowls includes "vanilla chia pudding," which uses yogurt as the base. I was extremely disappointed and will not be back. If you want a good smoothie, go to Espresso Simpatico.
