We recently relocated to Las Vegas and needed to find a new pediatrician for our baby boy. I called the office and made an appointment for his 9 month well check. The office itself is in need of a deep cleaning and does not have separate sick and well waiting areas. When we got in with the doctor I brought up that my son suffers from silent reflux and was still spitting up a lot (I had been told previously that it would usually subside after 6 months). The doctor decided to have a swallow study done which I was completely fine with. 6 months later I received a bill in the mail for my copay. The office billed our visit not as a well check but as a sick visit. Whenever I called the office to discuss this they were completely rude and said my son was sick. I argued that he has been spitting up since he has been born and I was only concerned that it hadn't stopped after 6 months. At no point during the visit did the dr say this won't be a well visit etc. It also took several phone calls to get a hold of someone in the office. Horrible disgusting office with shady business practices.
