Been coming here for 20 years. This is THE Irish pub in Montreal. Great place for Irish pub music - live shows every night of the week with an extra Saturday afternoon music session.
Best on-tap import beer in town though at $8.50-$9.00 it becomes an expensive night out if this is your sole destination.
Food is hit or miss unfortunately as cooks come and go and the food changes. Safe bets are the burgers which are always good and the stews.
Very friendly staff and I would actually say that it's the friendliest staff I've ever seen in town.
Only 4 stars because the drinks are expensive and apart from the burgers and stews, the food can be great or no better than something that comes from a can (stay away from the onion soup...).
So come on by, grab a beer and listen to some great live music!
