This place has been on my bucket list since their feed starting showing up on Facebook. I consider myself a cake expert. I FRICKING LOVE CAKE! And I am happy to report these cupcakes did not disappoint. I've had some bad cupcakes. It's hard for some reason for bakeries to get the cake and frosting right. A local competitor has great icing, but the cake is not great. It's dry and the icing has to save it. NOT HERE! I bought 6 because I've already explained I have a cake problem. I went to the shop, not the food truck. The place is small, cute and clean. The staff was really nice. I bought strawberry, blueberry, maple bacon, chocolate, traditional, and peanut butter Oreo. Here are my thoughts on the first three I've taste tested so far. Strawberry Fields was my favorite. The cake was full of flavor and moist. The icing was the perfect compliment. The same goes for the Blueberry. The Maple Bacon was my least favorite. It has a chocolate cake and it was dry and dense. A common problem with cake when cocoa powder is involved. The icing with the salty bacon saved it. I can't wait to try the next 3 and I will definitely be going back. With my box I might add so I can get a free cupcake! (That's a thing there. Bring your box and buy 5, get one free.) Check them out!
