Being from Los Angeles, I happen to live down the street from one of the best tiki bars in the world, the Tiki Ti. That is the standard by which I hold all other tiki bars. Frankie's Tiki Room is an ok tiki bar. The bar itself is cool to look at, and I like their jukebox. The drink selection is alright, and the pours aren't bad.
From what I could tell, this is a locals kind of place. Most people in the bar were drinking Miller Lite. So if you want something off the strip that doesn't have a casino vibe, and you don't mind just average tropical drinks, this is your place. Otherwise I'll meet you at the Spearmint Rhino. I'm just kidding. I'm not a stripper anymore. I quit doing that in college.
