Have been renting from this company for over three years. I had a number of situations which brought me close to never renting from there again, however thought their service may improve. Recently I was finally brought over the edge and will never rent from them again. I cannot support a business that has repeatedly proved to not give an inch of care for their customers. Once I was charged a cleaning fee for a car that had snow and slush on it cause it was winter! I was refunded the charge after disputing it. Another time I almost drove off to Montreal on a completely flat tire after it was apparently serviced and ready to go, in fact the car was already running and I noticed as I was getting into the car. I received one last car that was available (which was lucky otherwise there would be no cars left and my trip would be canceled). However the car was a lot bigger and ate up lots more gas. Finally, I returned the car after hours as I was told that it is ok to do some. There was one tight spot left and the back of the car slightly must have obstructed the side walk. The ticket for $150 was issued May 24th, I was informed that my Visa was charged $175 on August 2nd!!! 5 weeks later with no phone call, email or opportunity to dispute the charge. Thanks Advantage Car, you could really benefit from some "Introduction to customer service and customer care workshops." Never renting from you again.
