I spent my childhood at Bahama Bucks (in Tempe) so I thought I had my Italian ice niche filled and didn't need to try this place. I'm glad I let my mom drag me here, because it's really awesome! We had the flavor of the day, which was strawberries and creme. The texture was so smooth, it's nothing like those crunchy gross Sno-Cones you get at backyard parties. The ice had chunks of strawberries in it, so I could tell it was the real deal, and not something shipped alway across the country. It was also amazingly creamy without being cloyingly sweet. I had a small, and it was definitely rich enough that I did not need anymore. Way better than going to Cold Stone or Baskin Robbins, and it's about the same price, too. Also, kudos to the owner and the employees, because this place is spotlessly clean and tidy. You could have told me it was a museum and I would have believed you. I don't always notice the cleanliness of a restaurant, but they really go above and beyond here. You can tell someone really puts their back into running this place.
