Came on a Thursday evening. Waited for 20 minutes when there was an abundance of open tables, my guess is they were short on wait staff that evening and wanted to keep the sections manageable. I won't fault them for that. I had the pot roast, it was very salty and the potatoes that accompanied it were a little clumpy. The portion size was average, kind of a bummer. We had the pretzel as an appetizer and it was great. But I mean come on it's just a pretzel, it would be pretty hard to mess that up. Service was okay, pretty quick to refill drinks, and the bill was affordable. I don't know this place screams average to me, I know there are other items on the menu that are probably worth writing home about, I unfortunately didn't have one of them. If you are in the area and you are looking for nice decor, not a chain, and moderately priced food this place should be on your list. Not great, but okayish to good.
