As you enter the dank cavern before opening the doors to The Golden Tiki, you begin to reflect on if you made the correct decision. The answer...is ABSOLUTELY. The Golden Tiki has one of the best bar atmospheres in the city; makeshift straw huts, giant leopard chairs, fog machines, firework lights on the ceiling, it's like island voodoo madness. The Golden Tiki specializes in tropical drinks (of course), most drinks containing either rum, Dole pineapple whip, or both. Being the DD, I only took sips of a few drinks, but the Blue Lagoon and Banana Batida stood out as some of the best, especially if you prefer your drinks on the sweet side. The Piranha Punch was more on the bitter side, not bad, but not what I prefer. The drinks were also very reasonably priced as well, especially considering some of their sizes! Out server Amanda was also incredibly friendly! Amanda went above and beyond when someone in our party requested more Swedish Fish for their drink (I'm not quite sure how drunk she was at this point), and also made friendly conversation with the rest of our party. Overall, if you're looking for a good time with a group of friends and want to try something out of the ordinary, The Golden Tiki will not disappoint!
