UPDATE 8.26 So, what I thought was a faulty radio, navigation not working and a loud clicking sound, which I incorrectly associated as the dvd/cd being stuck.... Turns out that sound was my actuator. The new stereo was in, sounding good, looking great. The second time I drove the car with the replacement stereo, and click, click, click. There it was again. I wrote Joe, who said it was under installation warranty, so he would look at it. He shows me that he couldn't have possibly damaged it. Off to the mechanic, who specifically stated, "There are wires back there and if they pulled them, then they could have easily damaged the Actuator. I'm not surprised. It's an expensive job and he doesn't want to be responsible for it." The Stereo is located in the same place as the Actuator and that he even replaced the unit once after hearing a clicking noise which turned out to be the Actuator being broken from his carelessness. Now, of course I am unable to prove this. Joe claims that is was strictly 100% pure coincidence, that my car, which has had -0- problems, and I had just driven it on a 3k coast to coast trip, that the A/C/Heat Actuator broke on the SAME EXACT day the my factory radio was taken out, and my new radio installed. The actuator being located exactly behind the stereo. So, now I'll be spending an additional $500 to fix a coincidence. I found Joe thru Amazon and his good reviews on Yelp. Due to the problems of the 'defective' radio, I then paid him outside of Amazon so that he could "recoup" some costs, as he told me he was losing a ton of money on my install. He seems like a nice guy, but in my case I feel that he did not take responsibility, and he did not do the right thing. Maybe Joe truly believes it was a coincidence. I don't and my mechanic doesn't. So, if I am wrong, then my original review would stand. But, I truly don't believe in such a remarkable casual connection. The same exact day? Come on. ORIGINAL REVIEW. Joe bent over backwards to make things right. We had a lot of challenges with a faulty radio. Joe was awesome and made everything right. A really nice guy, who did outstanding work and went above and beyond. My new Pioneer radio looks custom and sounds wonderful. It's nice to not go to a big-box store and have a professional who takes pride in his business, customers and finished product. Thank you, Joe!
