I have never written a negative review on Yelp. Never. I think its a great tool to find new, great businesses and don't always agree with people using it to bring down a business. This post isn't to bring down Skysong but to share my room mate and I's experience and warn future tenants. We moved in Feb 2016 and only lasted six months before breaking the lease (small fortune-- but worth it). The property management team could not have been less helpful or condescending since day one. I chose this apartment not by choice, but because my room mate already had a 1 bedroom place at Skysong and we were simply moving to a larger apartment... which they charged us for... even though she we were moving to a larger apartment AND she referred a friend... what should have been rewarded with their promised $500 was fined $500 and loss of security deposit. An exciting time of signing a new lease in a new city was ruined by their lies (which I happily called their manager out on) and lack of professionalism. Even if you're looking for a college dorm (which is exactly what this should be advertised as), do not live here. The hallway carpets are stained, trash sits infront of doors, its gross.
