On my first visit to Nails Club, I was so excited. I had been looking for a place that could do a good job on both pedicures and brows without charging me a car payment. I thought I had found them. I was not disappointed. That was in October. Fast forward to today. I had a gift certificate to use from Valentines Day and decided to head by and get a brow/pedi again. This time, the brow was quick, professional, and well-done. But when it came to the pedicure, the experience turned sour. The young man who did my pedi could hardly be bothered to do anything. Mind you, I splurged for the "spa" pedicure with all the "fixins". This young man was completely lost in the television set above my head and barely looked at my feet the entire time he was working on me. During the foot/leg "massage", he only used one hand, and stopped several times because he was so engaged in the story he was watching on CNN. He didn't bother to put spacers on my toes, and when he finished up, the first thing that happened when he put my flip flops on was a smudge, because my toes naturally touch. DUH. Needless to say, I was SO unhappy. To top it off, there was a $6 difference between my GC and the total bill (they owed me $6), and after standing there awkwardly for more than 5 minutes waiting for them to give me change (after that experience, there was NO WAY he was going to get a tip!), they asked me if I wanted to apply that to the tip. Basically they couldn't/wouldn't figure out how to give me change. All in all, I would go back for the brow wax, but I will keep looking for a decent nail shop.
