If I were rating just the Dr, I would give Dr. Norton 5 stars. I felt like he was very informative through my induction and c section, he performed the surgery quickly(my son was out in 5 minutes tops) and it must have been done very well because the nurses were all surprised at how little pain medication I needed. He was also laid back and easy to talk to, really good bedside manner that makes you feel secure. He would be greatly helped by better office staff. The front desk doesn't talk to patients while they wait, they don't say anything about how long you've been waiting or greet you in any way. They don't smile. Wait times are always long. I usually saw the nurse practitioner and she's a very friendly woman but she never remembered me and asked me the same questions on every visit. The nurses in the back were better and usually remembered me and made an effort. The front desk is the main reason I'm not giving this office 5 stars. Dr. Norton is very busy, which means lots of waiting and possible schedule changes, so the office would greatly benefit from a friendly front desk assistant.
