What a gem! Nellie's is a delicious little middle eastern sandwich shop in Oakland on 5th close to the Kauffman building. I ordered the falafel wrap and the baba ghannouj.
The wrap was huge! There were 4 falafel balls covered with lettuce, tomatoes, pickle, and a tarter sauce. The balls were crispy on the outside and warm and smooth In the middle. Delicious!
The real star of the show was the baba ghannouj. It was creamy and smoky and went perfectly with the cucumbers and pita bread it comes with. As you can see, one order is enough for your whole crew.
I'll definitely be returning!
