This place knows ZERO about retail customer service at their counter. I have been in there three times over the past two years and yet again had a bad experience - my last bad experience. I left there without any coffee today after placing my bean order to an indifferent individual who did many activities except take care of my order. I was the only person in there... Here are some tips for them to consider based on my three trips:
1. Acknowledge your customer's presence - even if it's just to say "I'll be right with you". Don't leave them standing there while you continue to have a conversation with a co-worker.
2. Don't treat your walk up retail customers like they are disturbing you. I realize you're busy filling orders for restaurants all over town, but the people who come into your store most likely asked one of those restaurants where they got their coffee and came in to give you their business directly.
3. Actually say thank you when a customer has made a purchase - is it that hard to acknowledge that someone took the time to walk into your establishment and give you money?
The only reason for poor customer relations is apathy on the part of the people who own and work at this place. Fini!
