I met Dr. Teng in the most unpleasant way possible -- as an emergency patient for an appendectomy. He was everything you could possibly hope to find in a surgeon under such circumstances -- cool, calm, professional, knowledgeable, and skilled. He did everything necessary, promptly, efficiently, skillfully, and with complete success. No more could be asked, or expected. This is how one would hope a surgeon would be.
